The Promenade Park offers residents of the area as well as visitors’ opportunities to explore the Parkview Tree Canopy Trail, Doermer Kids’ Canal, PNC Playground, as well as other activities such as Ping Pong, Foosball, and cornhole. The extensive river access points allow individuals to explore the river through scenic boat tours or even rent a kayak. Events are held every weekend during the summer at the Promenade Park as well as the downtown Fort Wayne Area. Along with the Promenade Park, there are many other Parks and Trails nearby one of which is The Rivergreenway Trail that stretches 25 miles from Fort Wayne to New Haven which allows individuals to walk, job, rollerblade, bike and much more.
